Brick Visual Launches A New Generation Of Tools For Archviz

Brick Visual’s Pulze Scene Manager is now available and ready to enhance the workflow of 3D Artists.

Brick Visual is a high-end architectural visualization studio known for their award winning Still Images and Architectural Animations. With a background firmly rooted in the architecture industry, and with a wealth of experience in the field of visualization, the Brick Visual team truly understands the workflows of architects and 3D artists alike. As leaders in the industry, we also understand that the technology you use is also as important as what you are creating. As such, in 2017, Brick Visual unveiled their very own full-time R&D team – tasked with developing new technology and software designed to further streamline the design process for a more efficient and productive workflow. After a year of successful implementation, Brick is now ready to share their creation with the whole industry! Welcome, the Pulze Software Family.

The Pulze Software Family

The Pulze Software Family of plugins were designed and developed specifically for Architectural Visualization Professionals to cover all aspects of 3D content creation.

  • The Pulze Scene Manager provides a logical interface that makes working with heavy scenes in 3DS Max a breeze.
  • The Pulze Render Manager provides a streamlined solution for rendering out your scenes.
  • The Pulze Post Manager helps simplify your post-production tasks in Photoshop and allows for a consistent end result.

These next generation tools are easily accessible and provide an intuitive interface and design for a more efficient and enjoyable workflow. Pulze plugins are the perfect replacement for VFX based solutions by offering a consciously re-designed toolset to fulfill the specific needs of a new generation of users, including: Architects, 3D Artists and Visual Artists.

I believe we are in the midst of a paradigm shift in the Archviz industry. What we call architectural visualization today, was originally crafted by architects with a passion for new technology. These forerunners were driven by the question – HOW should I create this? As Archviz has become an individual profession, done by full-time 3D artists, the question has changed to – WHAT can help me create better? When we at Brick Visual realized this change was underway, we decided it was time to start developing new tech to for the next generation of users. To do so, we have been in constant communication with industry leaders in the fields of architecture and Architecture Visualization. Only together have we identified our common goals and developed a new and efficient way for visual artists to create. From these ideas the Pulze family was born.

What can Pulze Scene Manager do?

Scene Manager is an intuitive time saver for 3D Artists and Architects.

Most tools currently being utilized by Archviz professionals were originally developed for the VFX industry and were never designed with architectural visualization in mind. Pulze Scene Manager was created by Archviz professionals as a direct solution to this long-term industry problem.

Scene Manager collects all important settings that are scattered throughout in 3ds Max and brings them together in a unified interface. It helps users create and sustain a more efficient workflow.

What makes Pulze Scene Manager a one-of-a-kind tool?

  • User-friendly, modern UI that meets contemporary needs

Brick Visual has created an easy to use mobile app-like user interface, ensuring a fluent and natural experience.

  • Pulze Scene Manager is Highly Modular

Every option in the Scene Manager is organized and grouped into modules. To fit any workflow, cameras, lights, layers output settings can be modified and personalized. For example a set of modules can be used when dealing with lighting, look development and others when setting up cameras for an animation.

  • Rule based render output

Render output paths can be created using predefined rules. It is an intuitive tool to set up complicated outputs. A previously created rule can be exported and reused. Output folders will be automatically created at render time.

  • Fetch Settings

When Scene Manager is not used from the beginning of a project, it could take some time to transfer and arrange dozens of cameras and lighting situations. This is where the fetch feature can speed up the workflow. In case of creating an animation, all the setups can be auto-created from the selected cameras.

  • HDRI Browser

HDRI-s can be searched and applied through the built-in browser by using the thumbnails for instant design decisions.

  • Batch Render

With the help of the batch render function images can be rendered one by one with different lighting, layers, output paths or even with different elements and they can be managed easily at the same time.

The official Scene Manager is available with a one month free trial.  The Post Manager is accessible for open beta testing.  Both of them are now ready to be download from the following website: pulze.io.
